While on-shore wind

Posted on August 28, 2022
Wind

While on-shore wind will always require backup when the wind strength is above or below a turbine’s operating limits, wind technology will contribute more to the reduction of GHG when backed up by renewable power sources during its down time.  W4B is looking at new wind technologies that can operate at their port-side sites in conjunction with its biomass fuelled power plants to maximise  each sites’ renewable electricity capability.
